# You do not currently have any assigned resources

An end user has complained that Profile shows "You do not currently have any assigned resources.

In turn this can mean:

- they are signing into profile with an alternative user (to diagnose, click on their profile, icon in upper right, it will tell you).
- to check permissions, use Access/Audits, enter a bit of their name (see below screenshot)
- if you determine there is a missing assignment of permission, it could be either 
    - you assign it via a group, and the user is not in the group (see Access/Groups), or
    - the permissions are assigned directly: see Access/Application Permissions (for web applications) and Access/Resource Permissions (Desktop, Share, ...)
