Process zones are logical groupings of assets that perform a similar function or
belong to the same industrial process. Defining these zones allows security teams
to apply specific communication policies, ensuring that devices within a zone can
interact while traffic between zones is strictly monitored and controlled. This
architecture is a core component of the ISA/IEC 62443 standard for protecting industrial
automation and control systems. Read more in our [pragmatic blueprint for industrial security](https://www.agilicus.com/a-pragmatic-blueprint-for-industrial-cyber-security/).
