Shared Identity providers are pre-configured multi-tenant integrations to Microsoft,
Google, Apple, Linkedin, Yahoo.

Using a shared identity provider allows your team, and your partners, to equally
sign in with their native credentials, without creating shadow accounts.

Shared Identity providers interleave with Custom and Onsite Identity.

Once you have finished your initial sign-up, we recommend deciding which Shared
Identity providers to use. The most common configuration is Microsoft + Google,
allowing O365/Entra/Outlook and Gmail/Workspace users.

If you choose to use only custom identity, you may disable the Shared Identity providers.
You may only do so once no users remain using them.
