The **Resources overview** page (route `/resource-overview`) is the master list of everything your organisation exposes through Agilicus AnyX, shown by type, and is the entry point for organising resources with labels and controlling whether users can request access to them.

Every resource (an application, a share, a database, a connector, a desktop, and so on) is a protected object in Agilicus AnyX. The Resources overview page lists all of them in one table, marks each with its type icon, and shows the labels attached to it. It is where you publish resources so that users can request access, hide resources from user profiles, attach and edit labels, and bulk-manage labels across many resources. The type-specific management screens (for example [Applications](/anyx-guide/agilicus-anyx-administrative-web-interface/resources/applications/) and [Connectors](/anyx-guide/agilicus-anyx-administrative-web-interface/resources/connectors/)) are reached from the left navigation; the overview is the one place that shows everything together.

## Why use it

- See every resource in the organisation in one place, with its type, name, labels, published state, and profile visibility.
- Publish or unpublish resources so that users can (or cannot) request access from their profile. See [Resource requests](/anyx-guide/agilicus-anyx-administrative-web-interface/access/resource-requests/).
- Attach, replace, or remove labels in bulk, and filter the table by label, published status, or label status.
- Set whether a resource appears in user profiles (hiding one you want to keep quiet).
- Change a resource's icon, which is what users see when they launch it.

## When to use it

- After creating resources, to publish them for user requests and to attach the labels that drive permissions and policies. See [Policies and permissions](/anyx-guide/agilicus-anyx-administrative-web-interface/concepts/policies-and-permissions/) and [Labels](/anyx-guide/agilicus-anyx-administrative-web-interface/organisation/labels/).
- Whenever you need to review what is exposed in the organisation and through which types.
- To manage labels across many resources at once (bulk replace or bulk delete).
- To hide a resource from user profiles without removing it.

**Prerequisite**: permission to administer resources and labels (an owner or administrator role). Without both, the page shows a *no permissions* message.

## How to use it

1. Open **Resources > Overview** from the left navigation.

### Publishing and hiding

1. Tick or untick the **Published** checkbox on a row to make the resource available for users to request access, or to stop that. The header tooltip explains that a published resource can be requested from a user's profile.
2. Tick or untick the **Hide** checkbox to control whether the resource appears in user profiles.

Both changes save asynchronously; a notification confirms the update, and the row refreshes.

### Working with labels

1. Edit the labels on a single row by typing in the **Labels** column, or select **Configure Labels** from the row's actions menu.
2. To manage labels for several resources at once, tick the checkboxes on the rows and use **BULK REPLACE LABELS** or **BULK DELETE LABELS**. The bulk replace dialog is shown in [Dialogs and popups](#dialogs-and-popups).

### Changing a resource icon

1. Select the camera icon (*add photo*) in a resource's row to open the resource logo dialog, where you can upload an image file. The icon is what end users see next to the resource.

1. Use the **Search the table** box to find a resource by name.
2. Open the filter menu (filter icon) to filter by **Published Status**, **Label Status**, or **Label Select**. The filters available are *Hide published resources*, *Hide unpublished resources*, *Hide resources with labels*, *Hide resources without labels*, and *Only show resources with the selected labels*.

## Dialogs and popups

- **Resource labels dialog**: opened from **BULK REPLACE LABELS** after selecting rows, or from the labels column. It shows *Update labels for all selected resources* with a label entry field, **REPLACE ALL**, and **CANCEL**.

- **Confirmation dialogs**: bulk label deletion confirms before removing labels from the selected resources.

## Configuration versus diagnostics versus confirmation

- **Configuration**: publishing, hiding, labels, and icons are persistent resource settings.
- **Diagnostics**: the overview itself is configuration; access attempts on these resources are recorded in [Audits](/anyx-guide/agilicus-anyx-administrative-web-interface/access/audits/).
- **Confirmation**: bulk label deletion is destructive to the selected labels, so it confirms first.

## Pagination and async behaviour

- The table pages at **25 rows per page**. In the demo organisation used for this guide there are 61 resources, shown across 3 pages (25, 25, and 11 rows). Use the page numbers at the bottom right to move between pages.

After toggling **Published** or **Hide**, or changing labels, wait a few seconds, then reload or navigate away and back to confirm. The table also auto-refreshes a few seconds after edits when no other changes are pending.

## Troubleshooting

- **The row will not save**: check that the labels you typed exist (labels are validated against the organisation's label list). A notification at the bottom of the screen explains the failure.
- **A user cannot request a resource**: confirm the **Published** checkbox is ticked. Unpublished resources are not offered for requests.
- **A resource appears for users you did not intend**: check the **Hide** checkbox to keep it out of profiles, and review permissions and policies (see [Resource permissions](/anyx-guide/agilicus-anyx-administrative-web-interface/access/resource-permissions/)).
